Qbittorrent search plugins stopped working

Per the title, when I launched qbittorrent this day all the search plugins have stopped working. They were all based on python 3, so my rough guess is a Qt 6 shenanigan.
I’ll try to investigate later…
M.

Edit : from the CLI, the error message is as follow, with all the plugins listed under the “capabilities” tag.

Could not parse Nova search engine capabilities, msg: Connection error: Not Found

        <name>RARBG</name>
        <url>https://rarbg.to</url>

    </rarbg>
...
</capabilities>

Perhaps it’s time for you to look at Prowlarr… and add Prowlarr to qbittorrent.

I have only Prowlarr enabled there now.

You are aware that RARBG is now dead? I do have ‘TheRARBG’ in Prowlarr, however.

I’ll look into it. Yes I very much know RARBG is dead - that’s precisely why I quoted this one.
Thanks,
M.

Top trackers in stats for my content this month are:

TVChaos (Private - UK freeview)

Milkie (private - great for current TV, with Sonarr)
TheRARBG (Public)
SpeedCD (Private)
TPB (Public)

So, I managed to recover my search engines.
Had to delete two directories :

qBittorrent/nova3/__pycache__/

qBittorrent/nova3/engines/

And this file:

qBittorrent/nova3/__init__.py

Works fine now, after reinstalling the scripts. It was a reported bug in 2019 (!!!) and it obviously hasn’t been fixed.
I’ll look into jackett though, it looks like it replaces Prowlarr now.
M.

No, Jackett is the older one, Prowlarr is part of the newer Servarr projects - like Sonarr for TV, and Radarr for movies.

For regular TV, Sonarr is superb.
