I have to kill pulseaudio server and start it again to make sound work … playing with configuration led me to nothing … tried reinstalling it and checked its dependencies & libraries
Do you use intel integrated sound? It’s failing with kernel linux514 from .84 onwards.
If so, install linux61 (or linux60) and it will work again.
If you use nvidia gpu, don’t forget to add ibt=off to the grub boot line, ir it will not boot properly.

upgrading to linux61 seems to fix the problem … for reference (I was using linux515.85)
