Pulseaudio only shows dummy device

I am using an HP Omen cb1850ng and pulseaudio doesn’t detect any devices. The arch wiki also didn’t help at all.

I’ve had this issue occasionally on my msi laptop, rebooting fixes it for me. It only happens occasionally like I said

Well it doesn’t work in general. Rebooting does nothing for me. It is a fresh install, by the way.

Were any audio devices detected in PulseAudio when using The Live ISO to install?

If this is an Intel laptop, do you have package sof-firmware installed?
this package may be required for the Sound Open Firmware driver to support the internal digital array microphone
