Protonvpn :problems do install

Good morning.
I’ve tried installing Protonvpn gui several times, but I always get this error:

Compiling python-proton-client...
==> ERROR: Cannot find the fakeroot binary.

What can I do to get around this problem? I’m paying for proton.

You are missing base-devel needed to build any AUR packages
