Reason for asking: it would be useful to have, say, up to half a dozen. This would be handy for support and save having to re-post links to Forum resources such as “How to request support”, etc. on multiple occasions.
I’ve seen plenty of examples where the good people helping others here end up being obliged to post the same thing over and over, often because the OP hasn’t Read That Fine Manual!
Just an idea I thought I’d put out for consideration, if it’s even do-able.
I myself am using the “bio” section of my profile to include my other links. But of course, in the profile card itself, that gets abridged, and it’s not a clear overview.
Unfortunately, this is how Discourse was designed. I suppose one could submit a request with the Discourse developers, but it would probably require an extensive modification of the code, and they may not be willing or able to do it.
Of course, you can also maintain a (short) list of bookmarks, which you can then access directly from the notifications era, but if you have too many bookmarks, then they won’t fit, and you cannot order the bookmarks either — they are listed in reverse chronological order — and so organizationally, that’s not quite an adequate solution either.
