Problems with audio input - ASRock B450 Gaming K4

So I was using my microphone and then it suddendly stopped working, I switched to a backup and after some days it too stopped. For a brief moment (before unpluging it) my old microphone started working again. Is there a reason as to why this is happening? Any ideas anyone?

I suggest update BIOS to latest non-beta version 5.60 - ASRock > Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4

If microphone is still not working after BIOS update, check audio settings in ALSA

amixer --card=1

And audio cards and profiles in PipeWire

pactl list cards
