Hi all,
I have recently been facing an issue while connecting to my WiFi network on the 5GHz band.
The connection takes a long time (spinning dot indicator) and I finally get an error that says
Connection Failed: Activation of Network Connection Failed’.
Curiously, this only happens on the 5GHz band. I am able to connect to the 2GHz band normally; and after browsing around for a while on 2GHz an attempt to switch over to 5GHz is then successful.
This is almost always happening after I wake the PC (HP Pavilion Laptop) from sleep i.e. open the lid after it has been closed for a while.
A reboot seems to fix it but not consistently. Sometimes it just starts working randomly, and sometimes I just have to give up and use 2GHz and after a random while, the 5GHz band is connected again.
Any idea what this strange issue is and how it can be rectified.
I am running Linux 5.13.0-2-MANJARO x86_64 21.1.0 Pahvo - Unstable Branch
Thank you.
