Warum nicht bei Kernel 4.19 erstmal bleiben? Möglich wäre, dass deine GPU wegen veraltet und unvollständigen Hardware-Support fallen gelassen wurde in der 5er Version?

dann bringt die Einstellung des Monitors auch nichts…
Ich denke das ist eher ein Kernel Bug, da es bei linux419 funktioniert.
Beim 4.19 bekomme ich aber auch die Meldung [Failed] Failed to start Light Display Manager und somit einen Schwarzen Bildschirm.
Falls du XFCE am laufen hast, dann deaktiviere mal lightdm:
sudo systemctl disable lightdm.service
nach einem Neustart solltest einen terminal login sehen statt einem grafischen. Einloggen und dort startx oder xinit ausführen. Das sollte deine DE starten. Vielleicht ist lightdm wieder der Übeltäter…
Das sagt mir jetzt leider auch nichts… vielleicht einen vollen journal log?

Ich habe das Gefühl das es mit dem Xorg zusammenhängt.
Wenn ich startx eingebe bekomme ich als Ausgabe:
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X Server: Connection refused
xinit: server error
Allerdings gelingt es mir nicht den Fehler zu finden, geschweige denn zu beseitigen.
Hat jemand ein Idee was hier los ist?

Der journal log weitere Hinweise, aber zuerst bitte deine Systeminformationen, da du nicht erwähnt hast, dass du auch einen AMD GPU hast…:

Mein Vermutung ist, dass deine AMD GPU auf /dev/dri/card0 und deine NVIDIA GPU auf /dev/dri/card1 und aus dem Grund kann der nouveau treiber auch keine amd gpu öffnen. Das würde den Fehler erklären:

Your DDX does not work with your current kernel and/or libdrm. There are at least three possible reasons for this: the nouveau DRM kernel module is not loaded, a version mismatch between the Nouveau DRM and libdrm, or KMS being disabled.
First check, that
lsmodcommand listsnouveau. If not, domodprobe nouveauto load the nouveau DRM kernel module, and check the kernel log for possible errors.If the kernel module
nouveauis loaded according tolsmodcommand, but there are no kernel messages about nouveau at all, then most likely Nouveau KMS is disabled. This prevents the driver to work at all. Possible places to disable KMS are:
- kernel command line with:
nomodeset,drm.modeset=0,nouveau.modeset=0or similar- modprobe.conf or modprobe.d/ adding the module options
drm modeset=0ornouveau modeset=0- initramfs carrying the above module options
Check and remove all those that you may find, and retry.

Ich denke das sollte vllt auch helfen.
So geht das ja gar nicht - kaum 5.00 Uhr und schon schlafen gehen.

Ich bin froh das du mir hilfst dieses Problem zu lösen.
Ich habe nun mit pacman -R xf86-video-amdgpu den Teil entfernt der Probleme machen sollte.
Die Datei 20-nouveau.conf in /etc/X11/xconf.org.d/ ist nicht da und ich habe für die Kernel in /etc/default/grub den Eintrag GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_D0EFAULT um nouveau.modeset=0 ( ehemals 1 ) nomodeset drm-modeset=0 ergänzt.
Die Ergebnisse:

sudo systemctl enable lightdm.service und sudo mkinitcpio -P habe ich auch durchlaufen lassen.
Allerdings habe ich immer noch dasselbe Problem - der Bildschirm ist schwarz. Habe ich irgendwas falsch gemacht oder vergessen ?

Sollte die korrekte BusID sein laut inxi.
Bitter sicher gehen, dass dein system auf den neusten stand ist:
sudo pacman-mirrors -c Germany && pamac upgrade
und prüfen ob manjaro-firmware auch neben xf86-video-nouveau installiert ist:
pamac search --installed nouveau
Falls nicht, installieren.
Start kannst du xfce auch direkt so:
startx /usr/bin/xfce4
Installier dir mal mehrere Kernel und versuch mal alle:
mhwd-kernel -l
dann Kernel 4.4 zb installieren:
sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux44
Könnte auch möglich sein, dass neben den modes für die gpu, die du hinzugefügt hast, andere kernel parameter stören könnten… entfern die mal lieber wegen den Tests.
Die Eintragungen in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nouveau.conf wurden gemacht ( sollten das die einzigen sein und sollte ich eventuelle Mehreintragungen löschen?).
Das Manjaro war aktuell und Manjaro-firmware und xf86-video-nouveau waren installiert.
Doch nach dem Start von startx blieb er wie bekannt hängen, mit:
xinit: giving up
xinit: unable to connect to X Server: Connection refused
xinit: server error
mhwd konnte ich nicht ausführen, da ich es ja deinstalliert hatte und bei einer Neuinstallation würden ja wieder die Treiber von Nvidia, ATI etc installiert werden.
Daher habe ich darauf verzichtet.

Wenn ich mir den Fehler ansehen:
(EE) /dev/dri/card0: failed to set DRM interface version 1.4: Permission denied
Dann kann das irgendwas mit Bumblebee zu tun haben, oder der Nvidia ist noch da… kA…
Hol dir ne aktuelle ISO und boote damit auf dem Laptop und schau ob es da funktioniert.
