Please open dolphin, mount the partitions and report back what folders structure is presented there. Look for a file which is called fstab in the folder etc. The content of that text file I was looking for.
You said, your “boot partition” was corrupted. Do you mean the root or the efi partition? Because a boot partition is something else.
You can check a filesystem (of course it has to be NOT mounted), with:
sudo fsck.ext4 -f -n /dev/sda2
That only checks it by force, but does not repair anything.
That will repair it:
sudo fsck.ext4 -f -y /dev/sda2
You have to look at the output of lsblk to see the devices/partitions. sda2 is like → SCSI Device A Partition 2
