Problem using wireless logitech mouse

Hello,
I just bought a wireless Logitech G304 mouse today and was planning to use it. But after connecting the dongle, it seems to find the receiver and the mouse hardware doesn’t seem to have a problem. But the cursor does not move and no button seems to have any effect. Is it a driver issue? here’s my lsusb output:

Can anyone help with my issue?

Hi there, you could try Solaar from the repos to manage your Logitech Mouse. For me it did the trick.

Thanks for reaching out. I installed Solaar and this is how it looks. But still, the mouse is unresponsive.

Restart your system.
