Problem setting up second monitor

Hello guys. When i power on my second monitor and change some settings to be vertical the second monitor, it makes it primary screen making all the bar and icons move to the second screen. Also when i try to change back the first monitor to primary nothing happens. How to solve this?

Hi,

set the output of the panel to one screen in the panel settings:

Rightclick on panel > panel > panel settings

or

search it in Whisker Menu

or

start it with xfce4-panel --preferences in a terminal.

By default it is set to “auto”.
