How to fix ?

does it?
did you check?

sounds a bit like: something was there, but isn’t anymore

I have no idea and zero experience, but:
perhaps reboot
and start again?

dmesg log

it’s not well readable in this form
please reformat terminal output using the “preformatted text” icon
this one: </>
it will look like your terminal output then - much better readable

Are you sure that this is the relevant part of the log?
Perhaps more context (before and after) is better?

In any case:
I can’t help further.
I have never even tried to do this iso building …

My first guess was a transliteration of “chef”.

Same here, but I had to be sure, to be sure.

Thank you, that’s helpful.

I know this - kind’a solved itself - but there is an important thing to remember.

If you have synced (update) your system before running buildiso and said sync included kernel then kernel modules has been replaced and the system must be restarted before running buildiso.

So - to avoid similar issues in future - make a habit of rebooting your system after a kernel sync.
