I’m looking for a black/white laser printer that works out of the box with Manjaro. Preferably with network capability and no cloud/account requirement.
I want to replace my Ricoh SP112 as it doesn’t work with Manjaro.
I have a Pantum M6600NW that works like a charm. I searched a long time for it, and it works like a charm. I chose this because it supports IPP and it’s wireless.
There are drivers, for what I don’t know, probably scanning, for it in the AUR:
$ pamac search pantum

PPDs, drivers, for Pantum P1000, P2000, P3000, M5100, M5200 printers
pantum-m6200-m6500-m6550-m6600-ms6000-driver 1.1.99-1 AUR
Linux driver for Pantum printers (MS6000-M6200-M6500-M6550-M6600) V1.1.99
pantum-driver 1.1.99-1 AUR

…but as you can see, I don’t have any installed. AFAIK this is a driverless printer. Or something.
