Power saving causing popping/delay in sound with soundcard

Hi,

I’ve been getting popping sound and delayed start of audio when playing sound through my S/PDIF audio output on my soundcard. I would often have a similar issue with my analog output audio due to powersaving but I’m able to fix that by removing load-module module-suspend-on-idle from the default.pa pulseaudio config file. Unfortunately, removing this setting does not prevent the issue from going away when using the S/PDIF output. Is there a separate config for that audio output in pulseaudio?

I’m using a Asus XONAR SE soundcard and Pulseaudio 13.0.

My specs are:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.19.4
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.73.0
Qt Version: 5.15.0
Kernel Version: 5.7.17-2-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit
Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz
Memory: 15.6 GiB of RAM
Graphics Processor: GeForce GTX 1080 Ti/PCIe/SSE2

Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!
