Power manager switch to “performance” when plug in AC despite the fact I have balance in preference. And if I chose “leave unchanged” than it switch to “power save” profile…

How can I fix it?

Mod edit:- Image removed as it adds no context.

How do you know?
The picture doesn’t show it.

This seems to go back to your previous posts - about TLP and replacing it with what you have now.

I just literally unplug AC and then plug in and profile change.

And yes its starts happened after I install and uninstall TLP and installed power manager because it didn’t work.

Can it be fixed?

Again: the picture doesn’t show it - it just shows, in “Other Settings”, what you set it to.
So: how do you know?
(and what is the actual problem as well …)

Of course the profile is supposed to change if you unplug it from AC - it is supposed to change to whatever you set as the “On Battery” profile.

Its impossible show by picture…

That may be.
still:

… if it can’t be represented in the picture …

I kept asking to try to tease out what the actual problem is and how you know about it and how it actually is a problem.

But I will stop asking now.

I agree. The picture serves no purpose.

The image has been removed as it is inconsequential for those who might wish to help.

Please use words to describe your problem, and many of them, to indicate how you are determining the change of power save states.

“A picture paints a thousand words” is seldom ever true.

If you are finding it difficult to express your issue, just imagine how difficult it must be for others to understand it.

As this seems likely related to your previously created topic I have merged the two. Future topics created on the same issue will be deleted.

If you have additional information to provide on a given topic, or if your issue is discovered to not be resolved afterall, the suggested procedure is to send a PM to a Moderation staff member requesting that the topic be re-opened; this will be honoured at their discretion.

Please add your system information as described (below); expected with each new support topic.

Be prepared to provide outputs from various commands when asked. It’s equally important to provide as much actionable information as possible in your first post, rather than simply indicating there is a problem.

Waiting for others to blindly ask questions can be counter-productive – typically, nobody has a :crystal_ball: at their disposal – Instead, please help others to make informed suggestions, based on information you provide.

The “balanced” option means that the governor will automatically switch between “power save” and “performance” modes depending on what the system and software demand at the time. The setting “balances” a higher system performance when required with power saving when performance is not required.

When you set the AC power mode mode as “leave unchanged”, then whatever governor setting your system was using when running on the battery (most likely “power save”) will remain the setting when you switch over to AC power.

So, your best option is to set the AC power option as “balanced”, and let the hardware and software determine when to switch between “power save” and “performance”.
