After an update that included linux-firmware-20220309.cd01f85-1-any.pkg.tar.zst I experienced WIFI disconnections after which reconnecting seemed unsuccessful. I downgraded only the linux-firmware and linux-firmware-whence about an hour ago and have not had the issue reoccur since then.
It seems that it wasn’t this package only. Shortly after posting the original message I kept losing WIFI connection again. Once it was lost the system kept trying to reconnect, but never succeeded.
I have now rolled back all updates to the previous good state on 2022-03-01.
as much as anyone would like to look into this, no one has clue to what you are running except you;
