Plasma 6, Nvidia 550.78 system lockup during pamac

With Manjaro 23, pamac/pacman works fine, but after updating to Manjaro 24, pamac crashed during an update and pretty much destroyed the system.

This also happened with Arch and I wasn’t able to arch-chroot due to some “architecture” issue; so I went with manjaro 23.

Not sure if the issue is plasma 6, nvidia drivers, or a combination of both.

and
an incomplete update
for whatever reason
does not “destroy” the system

it is always just: incomplete - and fixable
