Plantronics usb headphone + mic not working on newly installed manjaro KDE

I have a Plantronics usb headphone with mic. Heard a “boot” sound when plugged in, but when playing video with mplayer, the sound is not channeled into my headphone.

1. Please read this:
   How to provide good information
   and post some more information so we can see what’s really going on. Now we know the symptom of the disease, but we need some more probing to know where the origin lies…

2. Provide all below information with the Plantronics plugged in.

3. An inxi --admin --verbosity=7 --filter --no-host --width would be the minimum required information for us to be able to help you. (Personally Identifiable Information like serial numbers and MAC addresses will be filtered out by the above command)
   Also, please copy-paste that output in-between 3 backticks ``` at the beginning and end of the code/text.

4. The output of

Thanks for replying. The usb plantronic headphone is okay now… i only restarted the laptop… and it is well. :=) just hope not every time a new usb device plugged in require a reboot, lol

You are right about more info, But i have 3 computer running manjaro and i also often help a friend of mine to help to fix issue… hence the profile will shows misleading info.

I often want to use cli to troubleshoot issues and fix it… but sometime helps arrive late… and have restarted the pc …hence issue solved by itself.

Just add “Multiple computers with multiple DEs” instead of Manjaro KDE Plasma , XFCE so we know you’re a pro!
