hello, I’m having a problem with pulseaudio, when I try to output sound to the frontal/headphone jack it doesn’t output any app , but if i change the volume on pulseaudio , I can hear the sound produced by pulseaudio(just a faint sound of a water drop, even at 150% volume) , it also says that the device(headphones) is disconnected.
Hi, could you post a bit of system information, please?
The output of inxi -zv8
is a good start; highlight the pasted output and click the </> button at the to of the reply window.
Cheers!
I have a similar problem. Often the wired headphones are not recognized. I have to do a full shutdown and reboot.
inxi -zv8

data shows system is using PipeWire not PulseAudio
Topic title has been edited to show correct audio server
It must be because i was trying to install alsa
Well , I’ve found what was wrong: It was the frontal connector, when I connected my hedphones and after putting a left/right test, I’ve found on youtube, it was playing, but wrong (left side on the right and viceversa) also it doesn’t reproduce the audio part that was for both sides; I tried moving the connector a little and voila! It was playing perfectly, (you have to put the output in headphones inside pavucontrol of course)
