I am using a ethernet connection but from past few days internet is not working on my device.

how can I resolve this issue?
There isn’t enough information here to begin to address what the issue might be. Is the computer connected to a router? Do you get a connection if you connect directly to the modem, thereby ruling out router configuration issues?

I am using a lan connection of my building so I am not connected to any router directly.
One more thing, the internet is working fine on my other machine which has MS-windows.
Few days ago it was working fine on this machine as well but now it is not, is it possible that I might have changed network settings and forgot to change them back because one day I was trying to send files over wired connection in between two devices.

What should I do to fix the internet issue?
Please help me solve it.
Inxi is showing that the Ethernet state is up. Have you tried the troubleshooting guide noted above? Maybe you have a DNS issue? Check your Ethernet connection settings in Network Manager. I am running Xfce, but right click network manager applet here and Enable Networking is checked.
You could try edit connections, remove the connection and recreate the Ethernet connection and reboot, maybe?
Are you using firewall or other security software. If so, try disabling and see if that is causing the issue.
Also, if you get up and running, note that kernel 6.5 is End of Life (EOL). It would be a good idea to switch to a LTS kernel, either 6.1 or 6.6 and make certain that your system is fully updated.

Okay thanks for the help.
It is working fine now, although I didn’t do much other than deleting the connection and restarting the system.
