Hello,
My Pinebook Pro KDE has recently (unfortunately I don’t know how recently) stopped recognising my external monitor.
Does anyone else have the same problem or could anyone suggest what I might try?
Thx in advance.
Hello,

Thx in advance.
Since the switch to kernel 5.8, the patch we applied to enable USB-C Display out has stopped working.
We are looking into it and hopefully we will find a solution.
OK Thanks.
I can confirm that, after downgrading to kernel version 5.7, the external monitor worked again.
To downgrade, use
sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/linux-pinebook-5.7...
and restart
Yes switching to linux-pinebookpro
fixes the external monitor issue.
sudo pacman -Sy linux-pinebookpro
will solve it.
Thank you.
This works for me.
