Hoped it fix it self if I wait some time, but it didn’t. Since more than a month, I can’t upgrade kirigami-addons but got an error in discover:
I know how I could disable this “no metadata” message, it’s if you go to settings and disable vendor-directories:
But I’m not sure if this prevent other packages from upgrading too.
So how can I solve this issue in a solid way without take the risk that other important components will not be updated?
First of all you should know we do not support third party repositories like archlinuxcn
There is nowhere in our main repositories, nor on arch linux the kirigami-addons
1.0.1-1 version, all have the 0.8.0-1 version
https://archlinux.org/packages/?sort=&repo=Extra&q=kirigami&maintainer=&flagged=
https://packages.manjaro.org/?query=kirigami-addons
On manjaro Kde-Unstable
repo there is kirigami-addons
1:0.8.0.R… depending of the branch, so is quite unclear how you ended up like this. I suggest to get back to our default pacman.conf. Refresh the mirrors and update from terminal.
sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu
Having similar problem. This package only shows up in KDE Discover. It doesn’t show up in PamacGUI or pacman.
This problem exists at least 6 months now. No errors or anything, just not updating
I did tried to run sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu
$ sudo pacman-mirrors -f5 && sudo pacman -Syyu INT ✘

Then i can confirm from our webpage search Packages
The thing is, on stable branch was not done yet the merger to extra
from community
Merger of [community] repository in [extras] is not done in this update … right?
and all looks still a bit funky to me … Probably you could sort it out by switching branches and update mirrors first.

It seems I do have the same problem - there’s a kirigami update in Discover which doesn’t work though. The update doesn’t show up in pamac or pacman though. Any idea how to get rid of it (the constant notification about it is a bit annoying…)?

Using discover (or packagekit any other way) to handle system packages is not supported … while problems are very expected.
See the note/link here:
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Pacman/Tips_and_tricks#Graphical
packages.manjaro.org - kirigami-addons shows version 0.10.0-1 available on all 3 branches
software.manjaro.org/package/kirigami-addons and pamac info kirigami-addons
also show version 0.10.0-1
pacman -Qi kirigami-addons
responds with:error: package 'kirigami-addons' was not found
but sudo pacman -S kirigami-addons
can find kirigami-addons-0.10.0-1
So Manjaro users should be able to update using either pacman
or pamac
