Pcc_cpufreq initstate no such device Error

Hi there, I managed to solve most of the journalctl errors. But I keep getting this strange error.

systemd-udevd[374]: could not read from '/sys/module/pcc_cpufreq/initstate': No such device

Earlier I used to get this error occasionally and a reboot fixed it. But after the recent update, it pops up at every boot, and rebooting simply ain’t solving this!

Any Idea why I get this and is there anything I can do about it!?

TIA!!!

something coming with scheduler cpu
do this check
with kernel 5.7.x and 5.8.x

cpupower frequency-info

if driver is intel_pstate in both case , do not care
if changes appears see this

Thank you! I checked and the driver is intel_pstate.
Well, I don’t know why but at this boot the error didn’t show up. Hopefully, I wish it to remain like that without the error!

And yea, now I know to check cpu-freq, next time I would check if the frequency get stuck at one number when the error occurs!! For now am getting a variable cpu-frequencies.

So I guess this error may be related to cpu-driver/frequency issues!(correct me is am wrong!)

hey one more question my system shows min frequency to be 400mhz. But I checked on intel website, it showed 800mhz. Before recent updates, inxi showed 800mhz to be minimum frequency. Is this normal?

see for next update kernel
