Nice to see passkey support being added. I’ve started using passkeys on more services lately and they make login a lot smoother, especially when combined with a hardware security key. Hopefully more Linux communities and self-hosted platforms adopt them as well.
I researched it a while ago - using two factor hardware login - and while Discourse presented an option to use a passkey - it didn’t work.
Manjaro forum admins did not do anything other than update the forum software.
And the option is provided as part of the updates from upstream Discourse.
So the credit goes upstream for making it possible and functional.
