Pamac trans_refresh Daemon Error

Attempting to update pamac on XFCE4 after updating pamac itself get the following error:

trans_refresh: GDBus.Error:org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.UnknownMethod: No such method "StartTransRefreshAur"

This was after updating the following packages:

libpamac (11.6.4+2+g1421283-4 -> 11.7.0-0)
pamac-cli (11.6.0-5 -> 11.7.0-0)
pamac-gtk3 (10.6.0-5 -> 10.7.0-0)

So I’ve timeshifted back and placed all three on ignore list as it appears there’s only one maintainer for pamac.

Did you reboot?

Please provide the command that you used as well as all the output, not just the error.

One should not update selectively only one program, but always the whole system.

… maybe - but still:

putting something in the ignore list can be a cause of severe headaches later on
unless you know what you are doing - and remember having done it some time later

Doooh !

I was offered and applied the updates yesterday, seems I didn’t reboot.

Everything is back to normal now.
