This only happened maybe a few weeks ago, after the 27 May Stable update. As the title says, pamac no longer detects outdated AUR packages, and of course cannot use it to install updates. It shows installed AUR packages in the GUI. I refreshed the database using both the command line and GUI, and all nothing.
I cannot seem to find any setting that controls this. Any help would be appreciated.

Tldr: a server process is broken (or deliberately stopped). Until this is addressed, you can use another aur helper like yay (ok octopi if you want gui), or you can one-time update the database
