It would be nice if Pamac could isolate packages to 2 categories:
System, and user installed (non-system/optional) packages (–> Like Steam, or Discord). It would be clear if there is an update to the OS, and not to user apps. If someone doesn’t want to update OS, only apps, this feature could save their day. And then, I could work and “talk” to my computer more efficient.
Partial updates are not recommended and could lead to system breakage in the long run.
If there is a new update, apps or system as you call it, you have to install the whole package.
