I’ve found a strange quirk in AUR support on Manjaro stable. There is a valid, supported package station – aur archlinux org/packages/station/, a wrapper for an AppImage official package.
Tried to install it with yay – it cannot find station between available packages. Pamac doesn’t even show it on list of available AUR packages.
What went wrong?

I have no need for it - just checking your issue - I can’t replicate …
Probably you need to enable AUR support in pamac or simply: there is too many positions and finding the one is hard. If you scroll down patiently, you will finally see station. I would paste the screenshot here but the forum won’t let me 
.
The name of the app is unfortunate.
The same situation is with yay. It shows too many results so finding it is not easy. Look at the position number 58:

==>I have AUR support enabled, installed dozens of packages from AUR already. This one is just strange. I can find it on AUR web portal, I can fetch a PKGBUILD file, but yay and pamac doesn’t see it anyway, just show two options:

As @michaldybczak pointed out , that’s the problem. You are using yay wrong. Please read the yay manual
for install: is yay -Si station OR pamac build station

Its like this one package is invisible to AUR tools on my system. I can install everything I tried but this. Weird bug?
I used build command due to the advise from @Strit.
why not copy/paste (as txt) your command and output ??? otherwise we don’t progress! we need something concrete and not only comments.
It is also possible to be blocked before installation in nano … this often happens to beginners.

Yeah, although the position varies. Sometimes it’s on 56 or 54… Anyway, somewhere around 50 something. It’s really hard to spot and my bet is that is the real issue here.
Yay is working so the chance that is finding everything that the one app that the OP wants is just like none existent. It makes no sense and I’ve never seen such an error. The most likely cause is a human error.
I used Station in the past and I gave up on it, because they changed something and it required to log in every time (didn’t remember the session) and doing it every time I restart the app was too tedious. I’d rather use ice-ssb and create an app myself with full browser features that behaves like I want and need.
I can confirm this issue exists to this day. In my case, the issue sometimes-happens sometimes-doesn’t. I already had dozens of AUR packages installed. It happens with random packages, and using pamac when updating or installing new aur software is now becoming very annoying, because pamac complains on a random package that it didn’t find it. It is semi-random, because when it thinks that the package doesn’t exist, it won’t budge on n-th try.
Really happy that I saw a workaround with yay for the time being.
I believe this is probably an issue with pamac, maybe related to configuration files or something like that.
In any case, this issue is still happening. I’m on a fully updated Manjaro system from Testing branch.
