I am at a loss here

Install palemoon-gtk3-bin (unmaintained and orphaned) or use an up to date, maintained browser. See:

You’ll need to import the PGP keys as it states. See:

I believe Palemoon is deprecated.
Also Python2 is outdated and outlived, you should remove these packages.

Please look at this thread… :backhand_index_pointing_down:

@keepitsimpleengineer Please don’t create duplicate topics for the same issue. I’ve merged the two here.

oops… … .. .

Did you read the thread I linked you to?

  1. It says that you should use palemoon-gtk3-bin instead of palemoon-bin.

  2. It explains that there is a signature mismatch because the PKGBUILD refers to the wrong version of the package, and that by editing the PKGBUILD to point at the correct version, you can correct this.

hmm, the problem is that I don’t know how to do…

It asks you what to do, and it tells you which one-key reply invokes which action. Pressing E will open an editor — usually nano — with the PKGBUILD file in it. Then just edit the string that needs to be modified, and press CtrlX.

If it loads yet another file after that, press CtrlX again. After that, the build will continue.

… but how I start? downloading the source from website? or with yay? or octopi?
never did something like that before…

now I go to sleep, it’s late here, maybe I will have a dream :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

yay, octopi, or even pamac-cli. They will all offer you the same option.
