Interestingly, I lost ‘Meld’ somewhere - reinstalled that to fix pacnew-chaser.
I removed Paru last week - with this update I could reinstate:
yay -S paru-bin
However, if I run just pacnew-chaser
I see
Tconfig.programName: pacnew-chaser
Tconfig.version: 0.9.22
Tconfig.ini: /etc/pacnew-chaser.ini
Tconfig.ini: /home/ben/.config/pacnew-chaser.ini
hook pacman: 0
pacman hook: 0
global backup file no valid
fix kde ?
Safe to ignore?

AUR package is AUR package …
Also has not seen update in 5 years
(may be extra problematic for qt)
PS.
Oh yeah since it is @papajoke *tag*
Probably no need for update ! It properly worked on my PC after the last update (with meld). I just ran it in terminal (xfce) :
pacnew-chaser
Tconfig.programName: pacnew-chaser
Tconfig.version: 0.9.22
Tconfig.ini: /etc/pacnew-chaser.ini
Tconfig.ini: /home/denis/.config/pacnew-chaser.ini
hook pacman: 0
pacman hook: 0
global backup 5 days old : /home/denis/.local/share/pacnew-chaser/backup-config-system8.tar.gz
global backup file no valid /home/denis/.local/share/pacnew-chaser/backup-config-system8.tar.gz
no idea why I get a “file no valid …” as the file exists and can be uncompressed

Yes, I made a fresh backup and get no errors now, I think it’s just a bit rough around the translations or something.
Cheers @Denis_Pom
There’s also manjaro-pacnew-checker
which I installed, I’ll have a go with that - but no updates to check now
no issues == no updates
