Hi,
webdav mounts can not be used currently.
For Gnome this means that the online account functionality is broken.
Please add gvfs-dnssd to the basic installation so that webdav mount works again.
TNX!
Hi @samuel,
You do know you can install it manually right? It’s in the extra
repository:
$ pamac search gvfs-dnssd
gvfs-dnssd 1.54.1-1 extra
Virtual filesystem implementation for GIO - DNS-SD and WebDAV backend (macOS file sharing)
So to install it, simply run:
pamac install gvfs-dnssd
As for having it by default, well, we have to hope a maintainer sees this.
Additionally, you could always create your own, custom ISO image and include it:
Dear @Mirdarthos ,
Your reply is somewhat insulting. The fact that I point out the fact that the missing gvfs-dnssd package interferes with GNOME functionality suggests that I can certainly help myself. From a distributior point of view, and for the sake of less savvy users, this package needs to be included in the default install (there was a package split, so dnssd was a new addition).
The reference to creating my own ISO is really cheeky.
My reference to this shortcoming was aimed at maintainers, not smart-asses!
BTW: It is currently not possible to register at Manjaro Gitlab to open an issue there. Therefore, it seemed right to point out bugs here.
Just in case…
please adjust your attitude
