Opening ZIP file error

Hey Guys!

I have a problem opening ZIP file with ARK. It says:

“Loading the archive ‘/home/frowyy/Downloads/Ocean - Self-Isolation Drum Kit.zip’ failed with the following error:
Could not load the archive because it contains ill-formed entries and might be a malicious archive”.

I’ve checked the file using VirusTotal and it should be safe.

How can I open this archive?

My experience with ARK was less than encouraging. Try some alternative like File Roller, Xarchiver, engrampa, even peazip is better.

Try 7z x file.zip

Check you have p7zip installed and try that.
