Odd Konsole Startup

All of a sudden, whenever I start Konsole (running KDE Plasma) it immediately prompts for my SUDO password, and then says “no candidate packages found for pruning”. (This is even before my normal prompt - Irritating!)

What is causing this, and what can I do to stop it?

(Possible hint: I recently ran ‘sudo paccache -r’ to clear out old package cache entries. Did this somehow create a ‘hook’ that runs whenever Konlole is started?)

Any ideas would be welcome! Thanx.

Just a guess, does the prompt still appear after you run sudo pacman -Scc ?

No, but if you added some kind of redirect to that command ─ for instance by copy/pasting ─ then it may have overwritten or added something to your ~/.bashrc or ~/.zshrc, whichever shell you’re using.
