OBS stopped recognizing Input audio devices after Sep 16 Stable Update

Hi,

just installed the Sep 16 update and now OBS doesn’t see any audio input devices anymore. Everything worked great before the update.

Now, the list of input devices (in the dropdown) is just empty and say “Device not connected or available”. Input devices are listed in Volume control and seem to work. Also, Skype sees the input devices. Audio playback (e.g. in VLC) work, so it’s likely different from the other report

Kernel 5.10.63-1 with XFCE 4.16
Audio is pipewire 0.3.35
OBS 27.0.1-2

Did a full reboot.

Any ideas for approaching this, since OBS didn’t receive an update during this update cycle.

Ok, so I rolled back the updates of these packages back to 0.3.34

pipewire-1
pipewire-jack-1
pipewire-alsa-1
pipewire-pulse-1
pipewire-media-session-1

That resolved the issue for now.

sudo pacman -U /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pipewire-1:0.3.34-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pipewire-jack-1:0.3.34-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pipewire-alsa-1:0.3.34-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pipewire-pulse-1:0.3.34-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst /var/cache/pacman/pkg/pipewire-media-session-1:0.3.34-1-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst

Had a problem with audio. The fix is simple.
