Nvidia GPU usage is 0%

Hi there, my process units are like this:

neofetch

Screenshot from 2021-09-16 01-12-12
so then I used a program and the name is glmark2 what its doing is Stress-testing GPU performance so my problem is, it tested the wrong GPU, the AMD one, or better say APU (i guess) so there is the result:

gdmark2

so it made me think my Nvidia GPU is doing nothing at pc and I monitor GPU activity:

nvtop

as you see my Nvidia GPU usage is 0% while I was running a full HD movie.
am i right? if yes, what can I do, or looking for what should I search?

my laptop full information is:

okay i just thought nobody will care about the full version so I summarized it.
I’m kind of newbie, sorry

Does that laptop gpu of yours support PRIME offloading?

Did you try prime-run glmark2 ?

The GL_RENDERER string will show which card is being used. How to select which card can be read from the link @Yochanan gave.

for the PRIME option, you should use open source drivers, but I’m not.
somehow it doesn’t work and shows just a black screen after the first reboot.

No no no, PRIME is for proprietary drivers, not open source. But if it doesn’t work, well I don’t know this MX line of GPUs so I don’t know for sure if they should support prime offloading or not. I’m only familiar with GTX and RTX, pretty sure Quadro are also supposed to support it.
