I updated my system last night, it seemed like that this update removed some part of nvidia driver. After i rebooted, the nvidia driver was not working.
nvidia-smi returns:
NVIDIA-SMI has failed because it couldn’t communicate with the NVIDIA driver

I found the problem. My kernel is 5.13. I update it to 5.14 and its working now
5.14 is EOL too …

Better would be to install 5.15. It’s a long-term-support kernel. 5.14 is end-of-life and will soon be dropped.
