Not using LVM partitioning - How to remove or disable lvm

I’m not using lvm partitioning on XFCE. I don’t think XFCE is using it.

Is this the correct way to “get rid” of it?

systemctl stop, disable, mask

each

lvm2-lvmetad.service 
lvm2-lvmetad.socket 
lvm2-activation-early.service 
lvm2-activation.service
lvm2-monitor.service

and

/etc/lvm/lvm.conf
use_lvmetad = 0

Anyone else removed lvm?

Yes, I’ve done that too.

I haven’t done that, but considering that I’ve masked the services, nothing is reading that file. :wink:
