Not able to test the Plasma 5.24.0 (5.23.9) beta

The day before yesterday the beta for Plasma 5.24.0 was made available for general testing. I added the stable repository to pacman.conf above the rest of the repositories, saved it, refreshed the databases, / mirrors and proceeded to check for updates. I was met with the below. In the past I’;ve never had a issue testing the beta, but from that I’m not even being offered the beta files. Any idea why this is happening? Thanks

Either the repo isn’t updated yet or your current mirror is out of date.
Did you try another one?

The repo according to the KDE devs is fine. As for the mirror don’t know how to switch it for an individual repo.

Why not download a daily developer ISO to test it from there?

Thank for the idea, but why buildup an entire now OS when I should simply be able to install it in place of my current Plasma and keep all my settings and applications like I’ve always done?

Looking at a random mirror from the mirror list which is listed as properly synced, the kde unstable repo does not seem to contain the 5.24 beta :man_shrugging:

edit: branch compare apparently includes kde unstable repository and shows the same info.

Thanks for that, appreciated. It’s odd cause it’s the one that’s always been used in the past. Has to be a screwup on their end. I’ll need to go back to them and say hey it’s your end like I thought. Thanks again.
