Having freshly installed Manjaro using BTRFS as my file system, I activated Timeshift and set up an initial scheduled.
Then, while performing some software updates via pamac, I noticed that pamac automatically performs a snapshot before updating. Has this always been the default behavior with BTRFS and Timeshift?
I don’t know whether it has always been the default behavior, but it certainly has been for a while already if you go with the default packages and setup.

To clarify, the automatic BTRFS snapshot is done via our timeshift-autosnap-manjaro package created by @Chrysostomus. If you prefer to manage snapshots yourself, you may remove that package.
