No Taskbar, Can't Switch Apps, Stuck in Dolphin

How do I get out of this situation without restarting my laptop? The desktop (plasma) must’ve crashed.

Have you tried typing… :arrow_down:

sudo systemctl reboot

… in the terminal section of your Dolphin session?

Try this:

  • Press CTRL+ESC
  • Find plasma and kill it
  • Go to directory ~/.config and delete or rename “plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc”, “plasmashellrc” and “plasmarc” files.
  • Press ALT+F2 to open krunner and run plasmashell command or execute plasmashell& in dolphin konsole.
