No speaker icon in system tray on KDE Plasma

I converted my Arch installation to Manjaro based on instructions here

and the conversion actually went pretty smooth, but I don’t see the speaker icon in the system tray. It is not among the hidden entries, either.
I installed pavucontrol-qt but it doesn’t create a system tray icon.

I suggest you install plasma-pa - Plasma applet for audio volume management using PulseAudio - that
should also work with PipeWire
