No sound over Speakers, only headphones

Hi everyone. So, I’m new to the Linux world, we’re trying Manjaro but the sound isn’t working properly. I already looked in this forum and other places for a possible solution and tried some of the suggested solutions, but nothing seems to work.
The problem is only in the speakers, when I connect headphones they work normally. And the speakers work in Windows (dual-boot).
Thanks in advance.

From looking at these threads (they’re in portuguese, so I might be wrong):
https://plus.diolinux.com.br/t/lg-all-in-one-22v270-sem-som/2229
https://www.vivaolinux.com.br/topico/Linux-Mint/All-in-One-LG-23v545-sem-audio
It would seem that there is a problem with the initialization of the sound device. The fix is to either boot up Windows, then restart to GNU/Linux, or to press the Volume+ button on the device.

Tried those, no success :frowning:
Also, this LG model I have doesn’t have a frontal panel or volume buttons anywhere.

This post might help:
https://forum.manjaro.org/t/no-sound-in-manjaro-x64-xfce/77166/5?u=randomguy1

They have a different computer, but the same sound device, and the page on linux-hardware that they linked to does say to use the sof-pci driver for that device.

System data shows kernel v5.13 in use, that has recently been marked as End Of Life in update announcements

System data also shows 2 sound servers running

  Sound Server-3: PulseAudio v: 15.0 running: yes
  Sound Server-4: PipeWire v: 0.3.38 running: yes

See this previous post for how to deal with both issues – Microphone not taking input

ALSA data is showing modprobe options added to system

!!Modprobe options (Sound related)
!!--------------------------------

snd_hda_intel: model=pch position_fix=1

I assume this was something suggested from elsewhere that did not work
I cannot find model=pch listed in current model options for HDA Intel audio codecs
These options might be forcing use of legacy driver snd_hda_intel and preventing the Sound Open Firmware driver being loaded
I suggest you remove these options and reboot system, then check if system is able to detect audio devices and appropriate drivers
