No sound on dell inspiron, fresh install

Hello, I just installed manjaro on a dell inspiron, but there is not sounds at all, I am using gnome and on gnome settings>audio on output device there’s only the option “output fiction” (i am transalting it, not an enlgish system here). Obviously I can’t select something like internal device.
I have no idea how to solve it, please help.
It’s a dell inspiron 3501, running manjaro gnome with linux 5.10, it’s one of those dell laptops that come with ubuntu pre installed.

Please post your system info as outlined here:

done, thanks

That’s not the info that was requested. Please read the tutorial and follow the instructions.

Dell Inspiron 3501 was mentioned in a recent post:

No sound from new Manjaro install
A kernel patch for the audio codecs on this laptop was added to kernel in March

[v3,2/4] ALSA: hda/cirrus: Add support for CS8409 HDA bridge and CS42L42 companion codec. - Patchwork
Dell’s laptops Inspiron 3500, Inspiron 3501, Inspiron 3505 are using Cirrus Logic
CS8409 HDA bridge with CS42L42 companion codec

Kernel v5.13 will be dropped from Manjaro soon and kernel v5.14 will be marked End Of Life when final update to 5.14.21-2 is released to stable branch

So I suggest you install kernel v5.15

sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux515
