No sound from new Manjaro install

I’ve just installed the latest Manjaro to a new Dell Inspiron laptop, and there is no sound. Scanned through similar problems in this forum but they seem unresolved (to the extend I can understand them!
Here’s my output from the recommended inxi command:

I’m very non-technical. How should I go about getting the sound working?
Thanks

check the search function for pipewire. this is the new audio-standard but it’s not active at you’re system.
https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWire

Problem appears to be in ALSA and switching to Pipewire would not help

A kernel patch for the audio codecs on this laptop was added to kernel in March

[v3,2/4] ALSA: hda/cirrus: Add support for CS8409 HDA bridge and CS42L42 companion codec. - Patchwork
Dell’s laptops Inspiron 3500, Inspiron 3501, Inspiron 3505 are using Cirrus Logic
CS8409 HDA bridge with CS42L42 companion codec

You can Install kernel v5.13 for this patch with Manjaro Settings Manager GUI - manjaro-settings-manager -m msm_kernel

or this command

sudo mhwd-kernel -i linux513
