No sound in Video players in Manjaro KDE Plasma

I am new to Linux , switched from windows to Linux " Manjaro Kde Plasma " this week.
Since the day i installed Manjaro i am unable to get the audio of any of the videos that i would play in any offline players ( e.g: VLC / Dragon player ) .
I am getting sound in mp3 files or If i play a video online in a browser but if I try to download the same video and play, it won’t give sound in the offline player.

Any help will be appreciated.

A few ideas:

  • Have you checked in those players’ settings they use the right audio output ?
  • Have you checked in pavucontrol those players use the right audio output ?
  • Have you tried playing those videos from the terminal (vlc /path/to/video for instance) and see if errors are printed there ?

I’ve checked it from everywhere it seems fine.
I checked it from pavucontrol as per your suggestion. It still plays sound when i am on browser but it has nothing for the videos that i am using through players.
