No Sensitivity for Kensington Expert Wired

Hello, I’ve just bought Trackball Kensington Expert Wired, which works fine with KensingtonWorks on Windows, though, this programme doesn’t exist on Linux.

I just want to make my sensitivity a little lower; with current sensitivity the device is hardly called “usable”. There is a topic, explaining how to configurate Kensington Expert Wired without their software. It is true, that you can configure buttons with xinput, but you cannot set sensitivity, again. There is nothing wrong with my trackball or drivers as it seems to be: all buttons are detectable, acceleration works fine, no complains. Only sensitivity is missed, which I’ve been trying to find for a few days. There are sensitivities for the other mices, but not for this one, for some reason. Do you know where sensitivity for the Trackball Kensington Expert Wired is?

Open up an issue on the github you shared. To my knowledge there is you and the OP from this older topic

to use that device …

Maybe use:
xset m 1 10
(play with those values to change the sensitivity …)

Thanks for at least trying to help, xset m didn’t affect my mouse in the way I wanted to. This command sets the acceleration and the threshold on first and second params. Eventually, it didn’t help me, mouse is still too fast to use. I hope my opened github issue will help me.
