No jpackage command after installing jdk-openjdk

I’m interested in deploying a javafx application, but this requires the use of the jpackage executable, which isn’t on the command line for some reason.

According to all the documentation I’ve read, it should be, so I’m either confused, or it should be there.
A root/system level find didn’t turn up anything matching jpackage.

I have jdk-openjdk (20.0.1) installed.

How can I get the jpackage executable?

You can use Pamac to view the files installed by a package. According to that, it should be present at

/usr/lib/jvm/java-20-openjdk/bin/jpackage

Can you confirm it is not there?

I checked the dir, and no it was not there.

After reinstalling the openjdk, it re-appeared though. That’s beyond bizzare.
