windows detectaba mis 8gb de ram pero al pasarme a manjaro no me percate que solo detectaba 4gb hasta que por casualidad entre en Htop y note que solo decia que habia disponibles 3.29gb

Yo siento decirte que lo más probable es que tengas un slot estropeado o que un módulo de memoria sea defectuoso. Ya ha habido otros usuarios con problemas parecidos y siempre es lo mismo.

Haz un test de memoria con memtest86+ o alguna utilidad similar
También pudieras darle mtto, probar otro modulo de memoria en el slot, por cierto al encender la maquina no hace un pitido largo esto lo hace la placa base cuando existe un modulo defectuoso por ejemplo
opte por hacerle mantenimiento limpiando los módulos y los slots, después de ello la computadora me detecto los módulos de ram, pero igual presiento que algo terminara fallando muchas gracias por sus respuestas marco como solucionado.
