No boot menu at all (allthough no other OS)

Hi,

I’ve made a new installation with calameres (with the erase option). I have two drives HDD + SSD. Manjaro is on the SSD. HDD is just for general data (no Windows or any other OS).
Fortunately I don’t see any problem in Manjaro. But it starts without the boot menu. It shows three times the laptop logo and then I have the login screen.
I’ve tried sudo update-grub but it didn’t help.

Any Idea?

Hello,

Right after the BIOS loads, just press Esc or Shift
That will show the GRUB boot Menu …

Change the line reading…

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=hidden

… in the file /etc/default/grub into…

GRUB_TIMEOUT_STYLE=menu

… and then run… :arrow_down:

sudo update-grub

:wink:

That’s magic! Thanks.

(I’ve tried the update just because I read in the Manjaro User Guide)
