No access to nvme-drive anymore

I do not know what the appropriate forum for this problem is so I posted it here

An error occurred while accessing 'M.2-2TB-W', the system responded: The requested operation has failed: Error mounting /dev/nvme0n1p1 at /run/media/fred/M.2-2TB-W: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/nvme0n1p1, missing codepage or helper program, or other error

If all my data is gone from that drive it would be a disaster! All I did was access it from a Manjaro boot-usb when I accessed it last time.

and what filesystem has it ?

ntfs, it is a drive where I save stuff from Linux and Win alike.

But I did not access it from win a long time ago anymore.

Hmmm which basically means I could run a checkdisk from Win. I so rarely use Win anymore I wanna do everything in Linux.

correct. ntfs is win and the safest way for ntfs

Sorry for posting this here and thank you for trying to help!

I guess I had a short blackout when I couldnt access my drive anymore

You must run chkdsk from a Windows environment to repair the filesystem damage indicated by the error.

If in need of some reading material:

Regards.
